Dr. Mark Drummond, who became Chancellor of the California Community Colleges in January 2004, visited the ATPC on April 9, 2004. He was accompanied by Mr. David Viar, Executive Director of the Community College League of California, Ms. Mary Anne Rooney, Vice President of the Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD), Mr. Bill Studt, Interim Chancellor of the VCCCD, Mr. Michael Gregoryk, Acting President of Ventura College, and Dr. Joan Smith, Executive Vice President of Ventura College.

ATPC staff and volunteers demonstrated the many and varied equipment and processes related to the production of electronic-text, Braille, tactile graphics, and large print. Dr. Drummond's visit provided ATPC staff with the opportunity to view first-hand the operation of a System Office-funded center that serves students on a statewide basis.
