The role of the ATPC Advisory Committee is to advise the ATPC regarding its activities and services and participate in committee meetings. There are three meetings per year either at Ventura or at another community college. Travel, lodging, and meal expenses are reimbursed.

Members of the ATPC Advisory Committee act as representatives for stakeholder groups who may be affected by ATPC's activities and services. Advisory members are expected to gather input from the group they represent and present it during the committee meetings. After the meeting, members should officially disseminate the advisory committee information to their group.

Advisory committee representatives and their alternates should be appointed with their length of membership determined by the stakeholder group. We are currently seeking representatives from the following groups:

Libraries
Bookstores
Students (visually impaired and learning disabled)
