PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING ATPC SERVICES
Please print this page and use it as a guide to help you order alternate media products from the ATPC. If you encounter any problems with the ordering process, please call or e-mail the ATPC.
1. Gather Hardcopy Materials
- Certification of Student Need and Signed Student Agreement
Prepare/keep on file: Appendix VIII - Electronic Text Request Documentation Form (Guidelines for Producing Instructional/Other Printed Materials in Alternate Media)
- Class textbook
- Class syllabus
2. Obtain Student-Enrollment Information
- Term and Year (e.g., Fall 02)
- Start Date of Term (e.g., 08/19/02)
- Course and Number (e.g., PSYCH 1A)
3. Prepare an On-line Request Form (Username and Password are required.)
- Connect to the ATPC Website (www.atpc.net) via a web browser
- Click on the Login button, which takes you to your college's homepage
- Select the Catalog of Alternate Media
The Catalog of Alternate Media contains an entry for every alternate media product in the ATPC library. Search the Catalog for the book title that you desire. If the book is listed in the Catalog, click on the Order button and a Request Form (with the book information already entered) will open; complete the Form and submit it. If the book title that you desire is not listed in the Catalog, go back to your homepage and click on the Request for Alternate Media; prepare and submit the Form.
- Print two copies of the Order Confirmation
4. Keep One Copy of the Order Confirmation for Your Records
5. Send Hardcopy Materials to ATPC (Not required for unformatted e-text.)

6. Estimated Delivery Date for Alternate Media
Within 10 working days of receiving the textbook and class syllabus, ATPC will provide you with an estimated delivery date for your alternate media order. For unformatted e-text orders, delivery will be at the time that ATPC receives the e-text file from the publisher.
7. Method of Delivery
Alternate media materials, or electronic files, will be sent to you as specified on the Request Form or in the estimate of delivery date.
Please immediately notify the ATPC if there are any changes in the student's enrollment status or alternate media needs as specified in the Request.
